Weeks 7 & 8 - Halloween!

We have had so much fun these last two weeks with Halloween themed activities! In week 7 we focused on bats, owls, and spiders!

We made our own spooky spider webs...

We worked on fine motor skills and color matching by giving owls some feathers for wings...

Then we practiced our scissor skills and labeled parts of a bat...

After reading 5 Little Pumpkins, we re-told the story using felt pieces...

We practiced writing the letter "E"...

And we played in our spooky sensory bin!

We kept the Halloween fun going in week 8!

We played Halloween BINGO!

We made some spooky ghost art...

We worked on our hand eye coordination and built creepy towers...

Amid all the Halloween hoopla, we made some time to practice our sight word of the week 'you'...

We followed "recipes" to make a witch's brew..

And of course we had to try out the bounce house before the Halloween carnival!

We've had so much fun!
