Week 6 - Pumpkins!

Week 6 we learned all about pumpkins!

We worked with scales to weigh mini pumpkins and pumpkin counters...

We practiced our naming and matching shapes...

Our sight word for the week was "for", and we worked on recognizing, spelling, and writing it...

We worked on our number recognition using count and clip cards...

Then we spent some time tracing all the letters in the alphabet...

After learning about the pumpkin life cycle, we worked on building sentences using the new vocabulary we learned...

And we practiced some more counting!

At the end of the week, we cut open our pumpkin from the pumpkin patch field trip and investigated the inside!

With all these pumpkins, we are all ready for Halloween!
