This week we learned about bears!

We made bears out of our hand prints...

We practiced recognizing and writing our letters...

and we learned about the letter B!

And we worked on the sight word "me"...

Since we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, we also worked on our scissor skills and story sequencing...

We practiced our graphing using REAL gummy bears! (We even got to eat some!)

We also did some number recognition and matching practice...

After listening to "Going on a Bear Hunt", we re-enacted the story using sensory bags for the elements, and bear counters...

And our big project of the week? We used gram crackers and peanut butter to build bear caves for our gummy bears! (and then we ate them for snack!)

Some of us even practiced our bear faces...

Peanut butter, crackers, and gummy bears, OH MY!
